Latest : MAS lost carcasses found confirmation wait Putrajaya

The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN ) now in order to confirm with Vietnam Navy news reports that the wreckage Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was spotted off the coast of an island of Vietnam .

Defence Minister who is also the Acting Minister of Transport ,

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the navy was ordered to do so even though the Foreign Ministry and the Civil Aviation Department denied the report.

" About reports wreckage was found off an island in the south of Vietnam , DCA and our foreign office said it was not true .

" But as the report ( news ) , quoting Vietnamese Navy , ( Royal Malaysian Navy ) is seeking confirmation on this," said Hishammuddin told reporters at the KL International Airport this afternoon.

He said the results of the authentication will be notified within two hours.

Meanwhile, the Director of Civil Aviation Department, Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said that the Subang Air Traffic Control radar lost contact with a Boeing 777-200 aircraft at 1.30 am and not at 2:40 as stated by MAS before.

MAS CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya also explained that there are five Indian nationals and seven Indonesians in flight , and 12 Indonesian citizens as stated before.

MH370 aircraft departs KLIA at 12.40am ja and scheduled to land in Beijing at 6.30 am .

The plane was carrying 239 passengers and crew, including 152 Chinese nationals coupled with an infant , 38 Malaysians, Indonesians, seven , seven Australians , five Indians , three French nationals , three Americans with a baby , two Canadians , two New Zealand , two citizens ' Ukraine , a Russian citizen , an Italian , a Taiwanese national , a Dutch citizen and a citizen of Austria .

Azharuddin said the last contact with the plane was when the plane was over the age of 11 years and 10 months , are about 120 nautical miles from Kota Bharu .

Pilot Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah , 53 , is a Malaysian citizen and has 18,365 flying hours. He joined MAS in 1981 .

First Officer Captain Farid Abdul Hamid , 27 , joined MAS in 2007 and has 2,763 hours of flying .
